New York State Presenters Network Presenter/Artists Partnership Project
We are thrilled that the DANIEL KELLY'S RAKONTO was chosen by the New York State Presenters Network to be a roster artist for their 2013-14 concert season touring program.
The New York State Presenters Network Presenter/Artists Partnership Project offers financial support to New York State presenting organizations who partner with other presenters to engage DANIEL KELLY'S RAKONTO in significant audience development initiatives in their respective communities.
COMMUNITY COMPOSITION RESIDENCY:
One of the main inspirations for Daniel's work is interacting closely with members of a community and gathering their stories. These recorded voices will be woven into original compositions for Daniel's band, Rakonto. In performance, community members will hear their voices and those of their neighbors in a new way.
Daniel can collaborate very closely with presenters to create a residency that's appropriate for your community.
